This little car came from the NUMI plant in Fremont back when Chevys, Geos, and Toyotas all came off the same line. It's basically a Corolla with a Chevy badge. It gets 30-40mpg depending on how you drive, and it's clean with good tires and stuff. Just replaced the MAF sensor a little while ago. Passed smog like a dream to get it registered in California from Oregon - yes it's registered in Cali at the moment. I would probably keep it because it's so reliable (it's basically a Toyota) and economical, but it's just too small for me and my minivan serves me better. Since insurance is such a bear, it doesn't make sense for me to have two cars, so the minivan wins.

It's in great shape but not perfect - has a little chipping on its nose, and the suspension is 24 years old (it works fine, it just seems a little stiff and I just don't know if these little bare bones cars are supposed to ride like that). Front wheel drive works good in the snow, and it has been very reliable for me. Pics should show all the minor cosmetic issues. I just got it detailed and waxed, so it's pretty much turn the key and go. It's got a timing chain so no worries about having to change a timing belt every few years.

This is the base model - nothing fancy, but it does have cruise, a radio, AC that blows cold and really what more do you need? The price is firm for now, and the small flaws I described are figured into the price.
