Appaloosa mare, may be part Percheron.1,000 lbs. and about 14.3 to 15.0 tall. According to the vet, she's 13 years old (will be 14 this year). In the summer, she has gray leopard spots on her butt and turns flea-bitten gray. Healthy, just dewormed Feb. 4th. Seems to be a pretty easy keeper. Has had 4-way vaccination last year, will need same this spring. Hasn't had any vaccs for West Nile or Potomac. Good, hard hooves, barefoot. Has had 30 days put on her professionally. Does okay riding, but needs finishing and needs a few more ground manners and some desensitization. Has never offered to rear, buck, or bolt. Has sat for several months without riding, saddled her up, got on, and she acted like she'd been ridden the day before. Can open and close gates off of her. Loads and unloads in a trailer good, travels in a trailer good. Stands tied, but sometimes does paw the ground. Is pretty good to work on hooves. Not too bad to catch. Leads good from a quad. Good around vehicles, tractors, etc. Can be alpha to other horses. Mostly just backing her ears and chasing them a bit at feeding time, but settles down once she's had a few bites of hay. I wouldn't completely trust her around dogs, as she will pin her ears and sorta chase them. I don't know if she'd hurt a dog or if it's just a game with her.

Please have your own way to transport her if you buy her.

Make reasonable offer. Cash only.
