Platt Equipment Company, Inc. (dba Pelican Tractor Company) is a family-owned Kubota, LandPride, Great Plains, and Vermeer dealer with strong community ties. We are looking for an enthusiastic, trustworthy new team member with experience, knowledge, and skills to diagnose, repair, and service agricultural and construction equipment. Mobile service experience is a benefit but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Proficiently use hand and specialty tools to repair, service, and assemble equipment.
• Safely and efficiently complete repair orders in a timely manner.
• Identify correct parts for repair orders and coordinate with staff for special orders.
• Utilize computer programs and maintain required training and certifications.
• Provide customer care by demonstrating and teaching equipment basics.
• Manage paperwork flow for work orders and receipts.
• Always represent the company in a positive manner.
• A valid driver’s license or CDL with a good driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds in the daily course of work.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and equipment displays.
• Other duties as assigned.
• preference will be given to candidates with CDLs and formal mechanical accreditation—ASE or otherwise.
