This set includes the rarely seen optional New Classic Maple 12” x 14” floor tom. It has a punchier sound than the standard 14” x 14” floor tom and works exceptionally well combined with the 16” floor tom. A 12” x 14” floor tom is a common, standard option within Gretsch’s top-of-the-line Brooklyn series.

The Gretsch Memory Lock Mounting System on the New Classic series of drums features molded memory locks that integrate directly into the hardware brackets, ensuring that tom-toms and floor tom legs return to the exact same position after being broken down.
Gretsch has been producing high quality drums since 1883 and their New Classic Maple line is no exception. Gretsch created the New Classic Maple line to give drummers access to the same build quality, sonic result, and playability as with their Brooklyn, USA Custom, and Renown lines. And in addition they feature neoclassical aesthetics.
